Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal that has been especially close to someone

have dies, she goes to rainboe Bridge.

There are meadows and hills, plenty of food, water,and sunshine.

All of the animals who have been ill, and are old, are

restored to health and viger.Those who were hurt or

maimed are made whole and strog again, just as we 

remember them in our dreams of days gonr by.

The animals are happy and special to them, who has,

for now, been left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one

suddenly stops and looks into the distance.

Her brigth eyes are intent; you have been spoiled.

Suddenly she begins to run from the group flying over

the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.

And when you and your special friend meet,

your hands caress the beloved head, and you look once

more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so lond gone from

your life but never absent from your heart.

    Then, you cross Rainbow Bridge together.
